More News!
MengYan is doing so well. She has decided she likes daddy now, although she is scared of his beard. She is very smart, knows how to count, and knows some English. She is truly a little pig, I cannot believe how much she eats! She eats much more than I do! She is learning all of your names from the pics I brought. Tomorrow will be her first plane ride, as we head to Changsha to begin her adoption. PHF is SO awesome, and it is amazing meeting these kiddos I have loved from only their pics and stories. We had dicovered that Margaret is somewhat of a stinker, and she is quite jealous over Meng getting all of the attention. We have totally fallen in love with Tristen, what a sweetie!

Your posts bring back so many dozens of precious memories from our own trip to PHF!
ReplyDeleteBoth Meng and Margaret can be stinkers...that's because they were SO spoiled! The two of them were always getting led off by Sarah or Dawn (Hawkins) to the office or inn for treats...they were quite proud of the fact that they got special treatment and the other kids didn't! :) They are both so precious, though. And Tristan...isn't he a doll? We LOVED him too...he was so entertaining and it was always so fun to enter Samaritan's House and have him run down the hall to greet us, waving "hello" with his little short arm. Oh man...just writing this makes me want to get on a plane right now and go back to PHF!!!
