One more from Ann and Dale

MengYan is doing well. We cannot find a way to send you photos. which is driving me nuts. We are gonna have to start buying some new groceries, that is for sure! The only thing she will eat for breakfast is hard boiled eggs and plain yugurt! Today we will sight see in the market.

Today we went to a park, which is preparing for a National Day Celebration. It was very pretty. We fed HUGE Koi fish, and walked around an amusement park. Meng could not ride any rides, for fear of hurting her belly. She was not upset to miss the rides, because we bought her a little toy.
We then went for a LONG walk to McDonalds, which is NOT the same! My chicken sandwich...well, let's just say I did NOT eat it! But they did have delicious chcolate pies! MengYan will NOT eat anything from McDonalds. She ate maybe 3 or 4 fries, no hamburger, and does not like pop still! She only wants to eat hard-boiled eggs! So, if you get a chance, boil some beforE we get home so she will not starve! LOL
Meng is a funny child. She will do the same thing for hours....unlike the rest of us! She took a LONG bath, and the whole time she spooned up bubbles with a spoon, poured them into A cup, and when the cup was full, she poured it on her head. She did this for an hour, until the water was so cold I made her get out! She will also sit and color for hours, or play with a small toy for hours. She is pretty easy to please.

  3. How fun to hear an update from you guys in China! I'm so glad Emily and you all are doing so well.
I vividly remember our own experiences at "American" fast-food places in China! We only had ice cream at McDonalds, but we did do lunch at KFC one time and it was GROSS! :) (Funny 'cuz we had chicken sandwiches there too...maybe they just don't know how to cook them right in China!) I did love the green apple pop that we had at a couple of places though...have you tried it yet (it's bright lime green)? So good! I'm so bummed they don't have it in the states!
